2010 Gala & Golf Event
Our recent fundraising event was very successful given the current economic
conditions. The 100 plus golfers and 300 plus gala attendees celebrated
life and good fortune at spectacular Hokulia. As a result of the generosity
of those supporters and those that could not attend, I can report to
you a net income of $260,000.
Congratulations to you, your staff, doctors, nurses, hospital employees,
and West Hawaii Regional Board members that supported our mission to
ever improve the hospital for all visitors and residents of Kona. We
are determined to help you provide safe and reliable service to our
friends, neighbors, and families.Very best wishes for the holidays.

a Star.......Adopt a Room" 9th Annual
Gala & Golf Classic at Hokuli'a
Save
the dates! Our premier event of the year will be held Sunday, November
14th and Monday, November 15th, 2010. The Sunday evening Gala will be
a night of fantastic live and silent auctions, fabulous food station feasts
by Paradise Gourmet Catering, and sophisticated entertainment by the Big
Island's own, The Bill Noble Seven-Piece Swing Band featuring Desiree
Moana Cruz. The Golf Classic is Monday at the challenging Hokuli'a golf
course. All proceeds will benefit the continuation of our Adopt
a Room Project at Kona Community Hospital, a special renovation of patient
care rooms at the hospital.
